Our children’s health and education are inextricably connected, and nature provides us a brilliant playground, gym, and learning environment! This list provides resources for parents and teachers as schools reopen in-person, virtually, or both, to help the children in your lives continue to stay healthy, learn and grow, connected to nature while we are all challenged during these unprecedented times. Parks. National Park Service (NPS), Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), county, and city parks have modified operations on a park-by-park basis according to the latest guidance from CDC and state and local public health authorities, closing most facilities and cancelling events, leaving some outdoor spaces remain accessible to the public.
